Goguie Zorzi

I was born in Torino, Italy, but raised and educated in Buenos Aires, Argentina, from a family devoted to the arts.  My grandfather liked to sketch, my dad sculpted in wood, two of my uncles painted in oil.  Another uncle was the curator at both the Fine Arts Museums of Buenos Aires and the Metropolitan Museum of New York.  I graduated college as a teacher and educated children for many years, later becoming a business owner.  My art interests also include piano, and ceramic sculptures, but for the last several years I have dedicated myself to painting.  I have studied in Houston with several master artists, learning diverse techniques that I try to blend in my pieces.  I received recognition in several local art contests, and my paintings are sold both at local galleries and over the internet.
